Balancing Family and Giving

2 Ways to Make an Impact

Despite the hardships many of us have faced the past year, many people still want to make a difference where they can. But balancing your family’s needs with your desire to help can be difficult.

Luckily, there is a solution: consider making a gift for the future. Many of these gifts don’t require you to part with assets today, ensuring your family has what they need now while also allowing you to make an impact on the future of Child Advocates.

Here are a few simple ways you can support Child Advocates without parting with assets today:

  • Include Child Advocates in your will or trust. This is an easy and flexible way to extend your support. You can give a specific amount or leave a percentage of your estate. As little as one sentence in your will is all it takes to complete your gift.
  • Name Child Advocates as a beneficiary of your retirement plan assets. To make this tax-wise gift, simply contact your plan administrator to request a change-of-beneficiary form or log onto their website to update your beneficiaries.
